Consistent standards for life cycle assessment | Swedish Life Cycle Center

Life cycle assessments (LCA) and climate calculations are key tools in the sustainability transition of industry. However, current standards – including ISO and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol – are often inconsistent and open to interpretation. The Consistent LCA Standards project aims to identify and clarify these ambiguities, contributing to recommendations that may influence future revisions of standards. In this webinar, we present the project’s background, insights from case studies, and the ongoing and future work towards more harmonized standards. The webinar took place on 10 December, 2025.
