In this video, we travel by boat through the marsh near New Orleans to explore Battery Bienvenue. This lost coastal gun battery was built after the War of 1812 to help protect routes into New Orleans. The ruins still hold old walls, cannon mounts, hidden metal pieces, and one of the original guns.
