Originally broadcast on "Scars and Guitars" on 4ZZZ and available on the Scars and Guitars podcast ever since. Stuart talks about recording "Dusk and Her Embrace", writing and recording "Cruelty and the Beast", and his opinion on Cradle of Filth band members from 1995-1999. Easily the most comprehensive and detailed account of the band by a band member during the late 90s. Stuart pulls no punches as he recounts his experience in this four-hour-long deep dive. Don't expect a typical news-media-style Q&A with Stuart in this interview. It's a genuine conversation, a sharing of ideas and philosophies. Originally, I planned to edit it for release, but I realised that doing so would ruin its authenticity. Some have criticised me for talking about myself, but I believe the conversation needed to stay intact. The positive feedback from Cradle of Filth fans reassures me that preserving its authenticity was the right choice, and I'm grateful for the support.
