Today we're making an Italian recipe that looks complex, but is actually very simple and delicious: Pannacotta, and in this case with strawberry jam, something irresistible and impossible to improve. Ingredients: 400 ml heavy cream 200 ml milk 125 g sugar 1 dessert spoon of vanilla 12 g unflavored gelatin Preparation: Soak the gelatin in a little cold water and set aside. Mix the heavy cream, milk, vanilla, and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until the sugar is completely melted. Remove from heat without letting it boil. Remove the gelatin from the water, squeeze out the excess water, and place it in the hot mixture of milk, sugar, and vanilla that we just made. Mix well to melt the gelatin and set aside until it reaches room temperature. Place in small glass cups if you want to make individual desserts or in a single glass mold. Refrigerate and let cool for at least 3 hours to harden. Meanwhile, prepare the strawberry jam. Strawberry Jam: Ingredients: 400g of clean and cut strawberries 2 tablespoons of sugar 2 tablespoons of water Preparation: In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients: strawberries, water, and sugar. Bring this mixture to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes over medium-high heat until a thick syrup forms. Remove from heat, let it cool to room temperature, and mash with a fork until a thick, chunky syrup forms. After the panna cotta has cooled and hardened after 3 hours, add strawberry jam to the top to decorate and flavor.
