Paddy Buckley Round. Solo Record. Ultra run in Snowdonia.
The Paddy Buckley Round is a 100km circuit around the hills of Snowdonia, incorporating 47 summits. It is the Welsh equivalent to English Bob Graham in the Lake District. There is a time target for people to complete these rounds in under 24 hours. I tried in June 2021 to complete the round but blew up at halfway and quit. I realised I just wasn't fit enough, so I went away for a month to train hard. This is my second attempt. I will be on the mountains alone (solo), with support from my dad on the roads. I have had to wait three weeks for a weather window, it has finally arrived...
