But have you ever cleaned your cistern as well? In this video, I'll show you how to do that with vinegar. To do this, you should open your cistern once. You only have to pull it upwards, then you can look directly into your cistern and you will immediately see that it is usually very dirty. Because also in this dirt and lime accumulate. And this is exactly what we want to solve now, and this works wonderfully with vinegar. In the first step, you should turn off the water supply so that the cistern does not fill up with water again after flushing. Now you rinse once and make the cistern so completely empty. I now put vinegar in a small spray bottle and spray all parts with it. Then I put 1 liter of vinegar into the cistern and fill up the rest with warm water. This mixture should now remain in the cistern for about 30 minutes. After that you can take a brush and wipe everything thoroughly. For the places where you can't easily reach with the brush, you can use your old toothbrush. After that you can see how much dirt is floating in the water. We have now successfully solved this problem. Now you can turn on the water again and rinse. This way all the dirt will go down the toilet. Wait until the water is full again and then flush a few more times, so that even the last bit of dirt is flushed down.
