In this video I show how to make your own multimeter guitar cable so you can easily measure the resistance of your guitar pickups. Many guitar techs plug a guitar cable into the instrument and then try to touch their multimeter probes to the other end. That works, but it can be awkward and inconsistent. In this video I show how to build a simple DIY adapter cable that connects your guitar directly to your multimeter. Using an old guitar cable and some spare multimeter leads, you can make a dedicated pickup testing cable that makes measuring pickup resistance quick and reliable.
