The Weirdest Gravesite In North Carolina + Cheerwine History w/ Carolina Posterity

Today’s adventure was absolutely amazing! I met up with my good friend Carolina Posterity and we explored some interesting and historical places in Salisbury, North Carolina. First on the list was the Original Cheerwine bottling plant that is rarely talked about, as most people only talk about the drink itself, we saw where the vision actually started. Our next stop was the the Lutheran Cemetery to find the gravesite of James Reid. It wasn’t just any gravesite though. There he buried his foot which was severed by a train in 1893. There was so much more to cover but I think we will do another collaboration at some point because we haven’t even scratched the surface of all the history Salisbury holds.
