Observer Trial | Corvid & Stile

Every observer leaves a different round behind. Conditions were good. Observation wasn't. This round wasn't really about golf. It was about learning how two different observers see the same place. Corvid (DJI Neo) continues its first field tests using ActiveTrack with revised distance and height constraints. Rather than chasing the golfer, the intention is to observe more like a bird: keeping distance, changing position only when necessary, and allowing the course itself to remain the subject. Stile remains on the ground. The contrast between them became more obvious than expected. Corvid searched. Stile waited. The recorded audio also drifted slightly out of sync with the image. Rather than correcting it completely, I left some of that separation intact. As someone who is deaf with auditory processing differences, it felt strangely familiar — another reminder that observation is never perfectly aligned. The golf itself is almost incidental. Three-putts. Good walks. Missed shots. Small adjustments. Mostly this is an experiment in attention. No observer records a complete round. — Music: Left Outside the Signal Under the Natural Sound composed using Suno Winter Rules is a quiet golf project exploring golf, walking, weather, attention, and the space between shots.
