Freediving at the old jetty | Catherine Hill Bay | OceanChan

Welcome back to another episode of OceanChan. This week we are at Catherine Hill Bay, around 1.5 hours drive north of Sydney. The bay is consists of a large beach area, a historic mining village and an old coal loading jetty which runs off the beach. The jetty is the highlight of this area, being around 150 years old. It has been disused for many years and slowly falling apart. However structure provides shelter for a wide range of marine life. This episode showcases three different dives along the jetty. There are lots of sunken pieces from the jetty as well as objects from the coal mining days. If you enjoyed the video, please like, subscribe, comment and share!
