Then we went to recheck the carburetor which was the main suspicion of the owner and me and we discovered 2 things 1 that the mixture screw was 1 1/2 turns of the 2/14 that it has and # 2 that the camshaft needle had too much play and it is important that it be attended to since We've seen it in several cases that it's the cause of motorcycles flooding, so we installed a test carburetor to see how the bike responded. In addition to that, we decided to check the intake and exhaust ports and discovered that both the intake and exhaust were tight, which also caused a loss of power. Once those errors were corrected, we took the bike for a ride to see if there had been any change. The bike's previous top speed was 55 km/h and now it's 75 km/h. In short, there was a change, but not entirely well because we performed more tests and found that the engine had already lost power and that oil was already passing into the combustion chamber. Apparently, the timing chain is very stretched and may go out of time and make things worse. The owner was notified and we will perform a partial adjustment once I get the money together...
