🎵Gabriella's Song - Arrangement for Organ and Flügelhorn 🎵 It's been a while since my last video. I've been looking for new songs to upload over the last weeks and came across a recording of Gabriella's song from last year. The song was played at my concert last October and the video was recorded during the rehearsals. The images are from my road trip through New Zealand. We had a lot of fun recording this emotionally charged piece. "Gabriella's Song" is from the movie “As It Is in Heaven.” It's about the life of internationally successful conductor Daniel Daréus. After suffering a heart attack, he returns to his home village in Sweden and takes over the church choir there. Gabriella is one of the choir singers. She is repeatedly beaten by her violent husband Conny. With this song, she finally breaks free from him and “sings herself to freedom.” I hope you enjoy our version of the piece. It's always a delight to play this song, whether alone or with other musicians. Unfortunately, the image quality isn't that great.
