Inside the Industry | From Rejection to Deadlifting With Eddie Hall

After five years away from YouTube, I’m back with a brand-new series: Inside the Industry. In Episode 1, I tell the full story behind my collaboration with Eddie Halltraining at the home of the World’s Strongest Man, deadlifting on the famous 500kg World Record Deadlift Bar, and what really happened behind the scenes before the cameras started rolling. What looked like just another fitness collaboration on social media was actually one of the most stressful and important weeks of my career. From struggling to find people willing to train with me, to getting the phone call that changed everything, losing my car key hours before the trip, arriving at Eddie’s house on virtually no sleep, and learning first-hand what it takes to reach the very top of strength sports this is the story you didn’t see online. This episode isn’t just about Eddie Hall. It’s about chasing opportunity, building relationships, creating your own luck, and understanding that networking can open doorsbut ultimately, nobody is coming to save you. Watching Eddie’s mindset, discipline and commitment reminded me what true obsession looks like. That experience helped shape the mentality I have today as I build The Gym Stream from the ground up and work towards my own goal of a 400kg deadlift.
