Fractal Abyss is probably the hardest song to remix in the entire album. The different textures and tones make it difficult to string together in a logical manner, but I got there eventually. If Into the Void is Finishing Move's equivalent to BFG Division, then this is their The Only Thing They Fear Is You. I deliberately front-loaded the song with the main chorus so that the outro can stand on its own, much like TOTTFIY. I think it worked out rather well. Because of the sheer length of this piece and how there are distinct sections, I personally like to view it as movements of a classical piece. The first movement establishes the key motifs, the second movement pulls apart and corrupts those ideas, and the third movement brings them back with more emotion.
