116-Year-Old Mercedes Simplex 60hp (1903) 9.2-litre Four-Cylinder Engine, Goodwood Festival of Speed

It was a real pleasure to film this 116-year-old Mercedes Simplex 60hp (1903) in action during the last two editions (2018/2019) of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The car, recently driven by Felicity Collings is powered by a massive 9.2-litre, 4-cylinder in-line engine that develops 60hp at 1,600 rpm. Bore and stroke are 140x150mm respectively; there's a side camshaft which is driven by cylindrical gears. E' stato un vero piacere filmare questa Mercedes Simplex 60hp che ha ben 116 anni! Anno di fabbricazione il 1903, qui la vedete in azione nelle edizioni 2018/2019 del Goodwood Festival of Speed. La vettura, pilotata recentemente da Felicity Collings è mossa da un grosso motore da 9.2 litri, 4 cilindri in linea che sviluppa 60cv a 1.600 giri/min. Alesaggio e corsa sono 140x150mm rispettivamente, c'è un'albero a camme laterale che viene azionato tramite ingranaggi cilindrici.
