In both armies – especially in the Foreign Legion – he held positions of responsibility, including... Train conductor and master of ceremonies (staff). He then worked for 15 years in private security; clients included the delegations of the European Commission from various countries: Saudi Arabia (4 years), Haiti, Israel, and Yemen (4 years). Following this, he and his team were seconded as PCASPs (Private Security Officers) for the armed protection of tankers and cargo ships in the Gulf of Aden, the Indian Ocean, and the Persian Gulf. Thomas Gast is the author of numerous publications. Today he works as an independent security consultant, continues to write books and articles, and primarily devotes his time to his family.
