Description This week we bought an 18 YEAR OLD Peugeot 107 with 98,000 miles for just £350… but was there profit hiding under years of neglect? We started by washing away YEARS of moss and dirt before bringing the faded blue metallic paint back to life. The headlights were restored using 1000, 1500 and 3000 grit before a full cut and polish transformed the front end. Then things escalated… The whole exterior was machine polished to bring the paintwork back to near new condition. Underneath, the rear subframe was wire wheeled, treated with Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80 and protected with Bilt Hamber UB. We even refurbished the wheels, bolts and hubcaps — total overkill maybe… but every inch of this car deserved attention. Inside wasn’t any easier. We stripped the entire interior out, wet vacced all the seats in the house, cleaned the carpets, vacuumed every corner and even restored the rusty toolkit with Hydrate 80. To finish it off we wet vacced the headliner because after 18 years… it was absolutely disgusting. Around 20 hours later this £350 Peugeot 107 was transformed and finally sold for £1,695.
