Millennium Actress is one of my favorite Satoshi Kon's movies, as well as one of my favorite moves. Although Satoshi Kon had passed away for almost 10 years, I still feel unfortunate that he was gone. Satoshi Kon and Susumu Hirasawa are like Hayao Miyazaki and Joe Hisaishi. Hirasawa's music fits perfectly in Kon's movie. The lyrics of this song basically summaries the plot of the movie that Chiyoko has chased after the man she loved along with her thousand years (movies). Were those just movies that she filmed? Were those her thousand years of rotations? Did Chiyoko chase after the man for her entire life?
