I Put An Illegal Exhaust On My V8 Discovery!

*I was warned this exhaust would be illegally loud... so naturally, I had to find out for myself.* In this episode, I fit a straight-through exhaust to my 2003 Land Rover Discovery 2 4.0 V8. Before buying it, I was told it would be *"illegally loud"*... so there was only one thing to do—bolt it on and see (or rather, hear) for myself. The result? This old V8 has been completely transformed into an absolute monster. Once the new exhaust is fitted, it's time to head off-road and let it sing properly, with plenty of glorious V8 noises along the way. As always, the Discovery restoration continues with a few other jobs ticked off too, bringing this £1,000 V8 project another step closer to becoming the ultimate usable classic Land Rover. So... is the exhaust actually too loud, or were the warnings a bit over the top? You'll have to be the judge. If you're into Land Rover Discovery restorations, V8 projects, off-roading, workshop repairs and bringing interesting old cars back to life, make sure you subscribe so you don't miss the next episode of the build. Thanks for watching, and let me know in the comments... would *you* keep the straight pipe fitted, or put a silencer back on? #LandRover #Discovery2 #V8 #StraightPipe #OffRoad
