Klassentreffen 24 - Röhrl, Kussmaul, Kristen im Gespräch

Today, Porsche is proud of its magnificent tradition of sporty 911 RS and 911 GT3 models. But the fact that these cars exist today is primarily thanks to three passionate car enthusiasts who, in the early 1990s, saved Porsche's legendary sports cars from losing their soul: Hartmut Kristen, Roland Kussmaul, and Walter Röhrl. Back then, everything hung in the balance: it was uncertain whether there would continue to be sporty versions, including those for racing. When they did eventually materialize, a V8 almost forced the iconic six-cylinder boxer engine into retirement. Money was never a luxury; great things were achieved with very modest means. Tobias Kindermann and Nikita Karagozov brought the three together for the first time to tell this moving story – and in an unusual setting – their joint exhibition "klassentreffen24," Porsche art, and car talk at Hohenstein Castle.
