Today, for the first time, I'll be introducing a Japanese female gymnast. The gymnast I'll be introducing today is Hanako Miura, who was active from 1989 to the early 1990s. Hanako Miura is one year younger than Devil. She's exactly the same generation (an outdated term). She's a very familiar gymnast to those of us who were gymnasts at the time. Hanako Miura was one of the gymnasts who went straight from Fujimura Girls' Junior High School, which produced many national team athletes, to the Asahi Life Gymnastics Club, She was a renowned gymnast who won the individual all-around title at the 1993 All-Japan Gymnastics Championships, even without Mari Kosuge, who had been her casemate until then. And above all, Hanako Miura is remembered for her fun floor exercise choreography from 1990, which I introduced in today's video. Maybe Devil just remembers her for that, But it's definitely the most fun choreography of the last 30 years. Whenever Hanako Miura started her floor exercise, the audience would always clap. If more gymnasts started doing fun choreography like this, I think the Japan Gymnastics Association, which is currently in the red, would bounce back.
