When Tchaikovsky Ascended • Pas de Deux (Slowed Reverie)
Pas de Deux” has always felt to me like the greatest piece of music ever created — a moment where Tchaikovsky didn’t just compose, he ascended. Every time I listen to it, especially slowed, it feels like the world is fading at the edges… like these are the final, breathtaking moments before everything dissolves into light. I never play this piece without closing my eyes. There’s something astral about it — something that lifts me out of my body for a second, as if the music is carrying my soul somewhere else. I don’t know why exactly, but this piece always reminds me of Monet. Maybe it’s the softness, the blurred beauty, the way light feels alive in his paintings. That’s why I chose “Ball-Shaped Tree, Argenteuil” (1876) for the thumbnail — impressionism is my favorite art movement, and this painting mirrors the dreamlike atmosphere I feel in every note. Slow it down… Let it bloom… And let it take you somewhere outside the world for a moment. ✨🎧 📜 COPYRIGHT DISCLAIMER Copyright Disclaimer under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976: This video is for commentary, criticism, and educational purposes only.
