How To Create Proxies PROPERLY in Premiere Pro CC 2020

Often times I hear about how people don't like proxies. Most of the time I have found out that people don't like them because of bad information. Most of the time, your computer struggles to edit the CODEC from your camera. Most mirroreless/DSLR cameras shoot in the H.264 codec which is the worst codec your computer can edit. Most of the time, I see people make proxies in the wrong codec (H.264) and often times, they even have the wrong aspect ratio/dimensions.
