What started off as a quick watercress gathering mission turned into a somewhat impulsive urge to do a mini summit of the mountain towering over the stream. Just something about the cold mountain wind and steep inclines, I just cant help but get up there. Enjoyed a hot chai latte up the top while enjoying the views of the Te Urewera mountains, the freezing biting wind made it all the more enjoyable and of course with my trusty mate king Harold.
