Le carbone au cœur du vivant, Hervé Coves
Nataïs and the National Center for Agroecology are partnering to organize the first edition of the national agroecology event, "Carbon is Life!", on February 10, 2023, in Samatan, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Because carbon effectively reflects positive changes in climate, biodiversity, and water quality, it is a simple and obvious indicator for measuring our impact and guiding our agriculture towards diversified, productive, sustainable, and resilient systems. This is why this day brings together leading experts on carbon to explain its classification and quantification to the general public. The objective is also to present a preview of a satellite-based method for measuring dynamic carbon storage at the field level. Detailed program: Introduction by Michael Ehmann and Alain Canet. Carbon, the heart of life - Hervé Coves The fertility of our soils - Konrad Schreiber Carbon and Water: One cannot exist without the other - Laurent Denise Putting "soil capital" back at the heart of the production system - Sylvain Hypolite Modeling and satellites: an innovative approach for mapping carbon footprints - Eric Ceschia Nataïs' carbon approach - Jonah Ehmann and Anne-Marie Joliet Roundtable discussion – A stellar lineup to explore the possibilities (Key figures from the livestock, arable farming, and wine sectors) 💙 If you would like to make a donation to support our free video production, you can do so at the following link: https://fr.tipeee.com/ver-de-terre-pr... 👨🌾 Click here to access our 100% fundable training programs: https://formation.verdeterreprod.fr/ 👏 Want to stay up-to-date on our training courses?
