The acquisition of 56 new trucks marks the largest advancement ever made in the operational fleet of the Santa Catarina Military Fire Department. In total, there are 14 water tanker trucks (AT) and 42 fire engine-tanker-rescue units (ABTR), totaling an investment of R$ 76.6 million. The ABTRs are directly employed in firefighting and rescue operations, while the ATs are responsible for ensuring the supply of water in more complex incidents. With this structure, the corporation expands its operational capacity and improves response time in emergencies throughout the state, attending to everything from fires to disaster situations.
