Emmanuelle (Eman) Manigat is a Montreal-born Haitian convert to Islam who serves as the Convert Care Coordinator at Rabata, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Muslim women through education and spiritual development. She also works as a community chaplain and psychotherapist at Ruhcare, an online mental health platform serving the Muslim community. Eman holds a Master's degree in Pastoral Studies from the University of Toronto and an Islamic Teacher's Certificate from Ribaat University. As a dedicated educator, counselor, wife, and mother, she is committed to supporting converts and helping Muslims deepen their understanding of faith while strengthening their communities. In this conversation, Eman explores the legacy of female scholars in Islamic history, the importance of women's voices in religious education, and how that tradition continues to inspire Muslim communities today.
