Mike Caviezel Session: Creating and Implementing Vehicle Sounds for Games - Audio
This talk will discuss basic sound design concepts for recording, creating, and implementing vehicle sounds for games. There will be some emphasis on real-world engine sounds, but there will also be a discussion of creative approaches to imaginary vehicles as well. Audience: This talk is intended for anyone working in game audio who'd like to learn more about how to create and implement effective vehicle sounds for any budget. Takeaway: Audience members will come away with knowledge of how engine systems work (both in-game and in the real world), how best to create content for them, and how to think creatively & holistically about vehicle sounds.
