Story of LINDA PERHACS | Mini-Documentary on an Unknown Psych-Folk Legend!

In 1970, a dental hygienist from Los Angeles released an incredibly unique album but was never in the spotlight until the modern internet era brought her out of obscurity. More than 4 decades later, Linda Perhacs finally performed live and released 2 follow-up albums after turning 70 years old. Film composer Leonard Rosenman produced Linda's 1970 album, "Parallelograms." It contains a lot of gentle folk music with very interesting melodies and modal sounds with moments of psychedelia and even utilizes sounds that Leonard Rosenman had access to because of his work on Sci-Fi Movies. The title track is their attempt at creating a sonic sound sculpture that moves around the listener.
