Our purpose is to "equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." Although we could say that our only standard of faith and practice is the Bible, in these days of so much theological confusion, it is worth clarifying that we follow Reformed theology. That is, we believe the doctrinal principles stipulated in documents such as the Westminster Confession of Faith and the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith. As you can verify by listening to the sermons included on this website, although we believe these doctrines, we do not teach them to such a degree as to disregard the whole counsel of God. Our intention is to preach Christ and Him crucified. We believe that in Christ we have the answer to all our spiritual problems. He did not come into the world to solve economic or environmental problems! He came into the world to save us from our sins and as Saint Peter said: to lead us to God.
