In the first four days, over 16,000 passengers travelled with average occupancy of 82%, touching 96% on some days.The train services — 26401/26402 (Jammu Tawi-Srinagar) and 26403/26404 pairs — complete the 269-km journey in approximately 4 hours 45 minutes to 5 hours. With limited stops at Katra, Reasi, and Banihal, the train now runs with 20 coaches due to high demand. It operates six days a week, skipping Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
