Silent Hill 2 - Promise (Reprise) | [Ambient Guitar Cover]

Originall composed by Akira Yamaoka. One of my favorite atmospheric pieces from the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack, so I knew I had to cover it someday. I love how it feels distant, fragile, and dreamlike, somewhere between a decaying memory and a late-night radio transmission. But in this cover I also couldn’t help adding an almost crescendo-like climax near the end, before bringing back the core melody and fading it out with some washy droning textures. Let me know what you think.
