mercane widewheel brake swap

2019 Mercane Wide Wheel electric scooter rear disc brake caliper replacement and/or upgrade. This 1000w dual motor e-scooter came with a mechanical disc brake caliper that doesn't work properly and has been recalled. Now, because I saved a grip and didn't buy it from Fluid Freeride, they wouldn't give me the time of day even though they're listed as the point of contact for the recall. I love their videos and they provide great information, but rather than ride and die, I chose to swap the faulty caliper with a Viper blue Zoom Xtech HB 100. It's a tight fit, but if installed properly, it has enough clearance. I'm glad to see the mercane widewheel PRO 2020 has front and rear brakes, but already has a throttle upgrade. I love my scooter, it's the best, so ride safe, stop safely and ROCK ON!! I will post a review and comparison later.
