#ertuğrulgazi #bilecik One of the rare must-see places in Bilecik is the Tomb of Ertuğrul Gazi, a distinguished tourist destination. Osman Bey's father, the leader of the Kayı tribe, was buried here after his death. Çelebi Mehmet converted the place into a mausoleum. Its current appearance was built during the reign of Abdulhamid II. His last will and testament to Osman Bey is also displayed in front of the tomb. A little further from the tomb is Osman Bey's first burial place. Orhan Bey buried his father here, but as per his wishes, he was moved to the silver-domed site after the conquest of Bursa.
