When we set up this channel we wanted to make sure that we took you through every step of our journey to becoming gay Dads, even if it meant spilling a bit to much info. When we were looking into surrogacy we would have loved to stumble across this video so we would know what to expect. Well 2021 is the year and thats because we have an epic story to tell. Everything is in motion and on the cards for this to be the actual year we have a baby! And we couldn’t be more excited. We created this channel as place where we can tell our full story in detail and we plan to show you every part of the journey, all the emotion, to the point our baby is finally in our arms..and I’m sure beyond. We know there are lots of different options out there for having children, from adoption, to fostering but we decided that surrogacy was the best path for us. About a year ago we knew so little about how the process actually works, and are still learning. We want this channel to be place where all people can come learn about surrogacy and hopefully inspire and inform you of the amazing time we live in, where this is possible for a couple like us. A little bit about us. We both come from very different parts of the U.K. Stuart is a city boy and grew up on the outskirts of London. Francis is a country boy and grew up in the green valleys of Wales. So how did we end meeting? It was our love of musical theatre which brought us together. From a young age we both knew we wanted to be on the stage which led us to the same Drama school in London, but at completely different times. The theatre network is small and well connected so it wasn’t long before both of us heard about each other. Francis’ opening line to Stuart when then first actually met was “I feel like you’re famous, I’ve heard some much about you”. And the rest is history. We officially got together on the 10th January 2011, so we are celebrating 11 years together this year. We knew from very early on that this was it and have been inseparable ever since. We couldn’t be more different in personality yet we love the same things. Oh and we are born one day apart. Francis on the 7th July and Stuart on the 8th.
