Of me Ole Ross attempting to drum To top 10 hits Of mostly bands That I've worked for/w When I was 1 of 150 Local Concert Working Crew + I had other jobs working THE IN as I was also the Local Concert Working Drum Tech + if that wasn't enough I was also 1 of only 8 Local Concert Show Call Stage Hand Working Crew or we were simply called Local Working Stage Hands + I was also the #2 Forklift Operator for outdoor concerts + I was 1 of 2 Local Concert Working Stage Supervisors So you know I was a busy Canadian Beaver haha & the best thing was I had way way more + Every chance I got I'd do another job Like Operating a Spotlight + I even was asked to work as a Roadie a few times I even got many offers From Roadies & Roadie/Stage Managers to go on the road Metallic was 1 of many Who tried hiring me Soooo you know I had a lil pull backstage!! Here's a funny I retired in around 2005 give or take a lil bit & in 2013 Many years after I retired! In 2013 I walked in the back security door & just as someone was being physically removed! & I do mean physically! I almost turned around & left But! I didn't! I walked straight on in! That back security door Just lookin for a fight! Haha & as soon as I walked on in Security saw me! Local Crew saw me! & my buddy/Roadie Stagemanager spotted me too! So he pulled me off to the side to chat As he hadn't seen me In like maybe 8 years So he pulls me off to the side & he first starts apologizing & remember my Roadie/Stagemanager was 6'8'' Not someone you wanna tick off! & he immediately apologized For not having a KISS T-Shirt for me I didn't even ask for one! haha So after or chat He did send me home w 1 2013 KISS Invades Canada T-Shirt Then he says Ross! Think about this Between 1973-2013 No other Working Stage Hand in Canada! Then he says oops I meant in the world! No Working Stage Hand! Has done what you've done Ross! Especially w Rod Stewart & Gene Simmons!!! Hey! At least he remembered me!!! & w him reminding me Of him & I making Rock & Roll History! As he was also part of my 2nd time w Gene Simmons! + my 1st time w Rod Stewart! & so after that I found my ole boss Rudie H As he was the reason Why I was even there As I heard Rudie's health wasn't good Or I'd a never walked through that backstage security door & not too long after My ole Co-Worker Russ B pulls up in my driveway Just as my girl was locking up As we were to go for a Harley ride So as she's doing that This car comes barreling in & came to a screeching stop So I hopped off of my Harley & ready to throw hands With whoever this dummy is! Then I saw Russ B! & the sun was in my eyes Couldn't see a thing So Russ hands me my a 2013 KISS Monster Tour KISS Production Staff T-Shirt & I did not see that a comin! Not at all!! So my Roadie/Stage Manager struck again! That's exactly what I call gratiute!!!! For all my hard work! Busting a nut many times for him & I had many other Roadies who after working w me a 1st time They seem to find me The next time thay come & they look for me From the word go & that made me proud & that's cause I loved hard work & I loved working concerts Didn't even mind working w 50' to 150' Snakes! & I was told many times! Not to toot my horn But I was called Canada's Greatest Working Stage Hand! & that's cause I did it all I worked w Spotlights I worked a a Rigger & every other position there was & I did those things To make me a much better Working Stage Hand & some liked me Cause I'd nudge full grown men Out of my way! While I'd say so all may here! I'd say Out Of The Way! Let A Man In Here! Who Wants To Work! You cladies can jaw flap Way over there! So outa my way! & that's why I was also added as 1 of only 8 Working Stage Hands on my 1st day & when I look at my Working Stage Hand Passes +1996 my Local Crew T-Shirts like my 1996 KISS Alive World Wide Tour Local Crew T-Shirts + my 2000 KISS Farewell Tour Local Crew T-Shirts + my other KISS T-Shirts I look & I realize It was all worth it!
