Importância de brincar l Daniel Barros

It's very important to know how to play! In the mid-20th century, psychologist Harry Harlow conducted an experiment on the importance of play. He isolated monkeys for six months, and after that time, Harlow noticed that the monkeys became aggressive when interacting with others of their species. They hadn't learned how to interact with others. And how to reverse this? By placing these monkeys together with younger monkeys. Play proved to be a survival skill. These younger monkeys were called Junior Therapists. Through interaction and play, the older monkeys developed social interaction. In six months, all behavioral deficits were resolved, and the post-isolation aggression was gone. In this video, I talk about how play is truly important. As Plato said: it's possible to know a person better in an hour of playing than in a year of living together. Watch and learn more. Did you like the video?
