How EA Sports STILL Fails To Simulate Longsnappers (and Kick Returners) in 2025

This is an addendum to one of my previous episodes of "How Madden Fails to Simulate Football: the Case for Longnsappers", in which I discussed how there are no meaningful longsnapper ratings or mechanics, despite Longsnapper being a depth chart position. Now, for College Football 26 and Madden 26, EA has included a Longsnapper rating and dedicated Longsnapper position. Does this new rating address my earlier criticism? Does this rating even actually do anything? Spoiler alert: the answer is [mostly] "NO".
