We Explored Istanbul’s Iconic Sights 🇹🇷 Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar & Waterfront Walk

Join us for Day 2 of our Istanbul adventure as we explore some of the city’s most iconic and busy sights on foot - from the stunning Blue Mosque to the bustling Grand Bazaar and beyond. We start early at the Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque), sharing why arriving right at opening time makes a huge difference. After a quiet visit inside, we walk past the impressive Hagia Sophia and through the historic Hippodrome. From there, we head into the maze-like Grand Bazaar - one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world - where we put our “don’t get lost” strategy to the test! We also explore the Spice Bazaar (also known as the Egyptian Bazaar), filled with incredible smells, food, and atmosphere. Along the way, we share honest impressions of: How crowded Istanbul really gets (and when) Whether the bazaars are as intimidating as people say Easy walking routes between major sights What it’s like staying right in the heart of the old city We finish the day with an unexpected walk down to the Bosphorus waterfront, with views across to the Asian side of Istanbul and the busy cruise port.
