A full ride on the Trinity Railway Express between Dallas and Fort Worth — what works, what connects, and why this system matters. The Trinity Railway Express quietly does something rare in American passenger rail: it just works. In this video, we take a full ride across North Texas aboard the TRE, exploring what makes this commuter line reliable, affordable, comfortable, and increasingly important to the future of regional transportation in the DFW Metroplex. From Dallas’ Eddie Bernice Johnson Union Station to Fort Worth, this trip highlights smooth operations, early arrivals, clean equipment, friendly crews, and critical connections to DART, Trinity Metro, TexRail, Amtrak's Heartland Flyer/Texas Eagles, and beyond. With major international events like the FIFA World Cup coming to Dallas and the Olympics to Oklahoma City the role of the TRE is only becoming more important.
