9 Year, 1900 hours, Suzuki 300 Outboard Update 2025!

It's been 9 years and 1900 hours since we re-powered our 27 Open Contender with Suzuki DF300AP outboard engines. In this video, I'll go over the good and bad and discuss the issues we have had with these motors over the last 9 years. We run 87 octane gasoline with ethanol in it like you would get for your car at a regular gas station since we trailer our boat. We typically cruise around 3500 to 4000 rpms and only run full throttle for a few minutes each trip. We don't run full throttle constantly. Some of the issues we have had are the o2 sensor, a 3-2 code, and a 4-2 (or was it 2-4) code. Otherwise, these engines have worked well for us!
