I Tried Releasing 80cm Asagi Koi from Japan: Here's What Happened
I Tried Releasing 80cm Asagi Koi from Japan: Here's What Happened Today, Quhaku Koi Farm is delivering three beautiful Japanese Koi fish, sized 70–80cm, to their new home. The highlight of this shipment is an 80cm Asagi from Marusei Koi Farm, famous in Japan for producing large, high-quality Asagi up to 100cm. Along with it, we have a Shiro Utsuri from Omosako Koi Farm, Japan’s top breeder for the Shiro line, and a Ginrin Karashi from Marudo Koi Farm, one of Japan’s Big Five Koi farms known for excellent body and skin quality. All of these Koi were carefully selected by us when they were only 1-year-old Tosai, then raised naturally at Quhaku Koi Farm in Vietnam. In this video, you’ll follow the entire process — packing, oxygen bagging, temperature and pH acclimation, and finally releasing the Koi into their new pond, located in a beautiful villa garden designed by Trieu Dien, one of Vietnam’s leading Japanese garden design companies. We always follow the Japanese standard procedure for Koi transport, ensuring safety and stress-free handling for every fish. Even for short-distance deliveries, we use insulated boxes, double-layered bags, and proper oxygen filling to keep the fish healthy. At the end, you’ll see the stunning 80cm Asagi gracefully swimming in its new home — a perfect harmony of Japanese beauty and Vietnamese landscape.
