Rezwana Choudhury Bannya mentions about "Gitanjali", a collection of poems by Rabindranath Tagore was published on September in 1910 in Kolkata. "Naibedya" was published just before "Gitanjali". In 2002, Bannya was awarded Ananda Sangeet Puroshkar for being the best female Rabindra Sangeet artist. She received a scholarship from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) to study in Santiniketan.
