♦︎ Portugal's youth are leaving the country. 30% of young people aged 18-39, or 850,000 people, have emigrated in search of opportunity. What's particularly concerning is that a significant number of these individuals are elite students, the future leaders of Portugal. Graduates and graduates, unable to cope with Portugal's steep inflation and struggling to find high-paying jobs, are seeking to leave the country. The Portuguese government has implemented various policies to stem the brain drain, but to little avail.
