We made it to Bacolod! The landing at Silay Airport was definitely a rough one—let's just say it woke everyone up. But we got down safely, and that's what matters. Inside the arrival hall, we spotted the tourist counter and thought we'd ask for recommendations on things to do in Bacolod. We didn't get much information, but we had a good time chatting with the lady there. Sometimes the interaction itself is the highlight. After grabbing our things, we headed outside to look for transport. Almost immediately, a few taxi drivers scouted us and started negotiating a rate to take us to the Capitol area. It's all part of the arrival experience—figuring out the local way of getting around.
