The Hodogaya Bypass is a bypass road of Route 16 that runs from Hodogaya-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture to Machida City, Tokyo. Since April 2016, traffic congestion has been greatly eased by the extension of the road in the direction of Hachioji due to the Machida project.
