BATTLETECH: The Annihilator

Oh boy, this one's going to be controversial. Brought to the #InnerSphere by the #WolfsDragoons in #Battletech, this ancient relic of the #SLDF prior to its #Exodus from the defunct #StarLeague, the #Annihilator is a surprisingly inflexible, substandard #Battlemech, despite the love it has from the #Battletech community. While I don't like to just drag some machines into the mud, its backstory is also heavily altered from its introduction. There is a lot to unpack too. The Dragoons, The #Clans, the #ClanInvasion, the #FederatedCommonwealth, and later #LyranCommonwealth all using this thing has made it a much more common sight than it ever would have been should it not have left with the SLDF. For an #AssaultMech, this thing is frankly just not something that delivers, in my experience, in tabletop #Battletech.
