Defiant Houthi militants showcase weaponry in Yemen

Houthis, embraced by supporters, paraded in Yemen's capital of Sanaa on Thursday (February 8), in a show of force amid a standoff in the Red Sea and U.S.-led airstrikes on Houthi targets. Men marched the streets showcasing arms, and chanting in support of Palestinians and against the United States and Israel. Iran-aligned Houthis have been targeting commercial vessels with drones and missiles in the Red Sea since mid-November, in what they describe as acts of solidarity with Palestinians in the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
