Episode #56 Our first session of the New Year had a few of us fanboying. Lauren Napier and Vic Ruggiero stopped by The Loft to record while they were in the early stages of their world wide tour *currently they're somewhere in Berlin at the time of this write up. Some may be familiar with Vic's other duties as front man for New York Ska/Reggae group The Slackers. Lauren Napier wears many hats as a Singer, Photographer, Cellist, Model, Publicist and writer for various outlets across the globe be it children's books or for NPR. We were treated to some old blues classics as well as newer material they were trying out on the road and the occasional story in between songs that could of filled another session. Vic and Lauren are still out travelling the world promoting their new duet cassette and poetry book, titled The Desert Echoes.
