Panavision. 1982. 108 minutes. The story: 1982, Antarctica, a dog is pursued by two Norwegians in a helicopter who are trying at all costs to kill it. The animal manages to reach an American base located a little further away. After the deaths of the two men, presumably insane, the 12 occupants of the station quickly realize that this dog is not what it seems. It is "the thing," an alien who will gradually try to take over their bodies in order to invade Earth. A look back at my greatest film of all time with a review and analysis.
